Telling the time is really useful, it helps you to plan your day and recognise when different things are happening. When you can tell the time you can work out how long you have until lunch or perhaps whether you are early or late for something. Can you tell the time?

What time is it when you get up?

What time is it when you go to bed?

What time is your favourite television programme on at?

How long does it take you to get ready in a morning?

How long does it take you to get home from school?

Have a look at the time whilst you are doing different things and see if you can answer any of these questions above. The more you practise telling the time and recognising different times the better you will get at telling the time.

Watch the video below and have a look at all the different types of clocks that show the time.

Can you have a look around your home and find as many different ways as you can of telling the time?

Some clocks might be really obvious but others might be more tricky to spot, see if you can write a list below of all the different ways you can tell the time at home.
