From Caves to Canada

January 5th, 2018 | Posted by Mrs Brown in Uncategorized | Year 5 Archive

In this term’s project we will be thinking about how the time and place in which people live determines the homes they live in.

We will be travelling back in time to the Stone, Iron and Bronze ages when living in a cave was the norm. How would you like to swap your lovely home for a cave?

We’re then going to be moving into more recent times and across the world to Northern Canada where the natural environment has a massive impact on the way people live.

Is there another place or another time that you would like to live in?

In the stone age they couldn’t rely on asda and argos so they had to go and hunt for food they also had to put all there trust into there tribe and materials. They had to be resourceful to survive in there conditions and inviroment.
