As you know, Miss Shaw is always on the lookout for new and exciting books to read! On this post, you can share any great books that you have read recently and would like to recommend to others. Remember to include the name of the book, the author, who you would recommend this book for and why.
Maybe some of the most popular books will make it onto our Unmissables display! If there is a book you have read or would really like to read that isn’t in our school or class library, mention it here and I may be able to find a copy.
My current favourite book is Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell. It is about a orphaned girl who travels all the way to Paris to search for her mum, and she meets a mysterious friend and has lots of adventures. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys adventure stories and likes reading brilliant descriptions, as Rundell is a writer who uses lots of figurative language. The theme of the book is determination and friendship. – Miss Shaw
