Kangaroos

We have been looking at kangaroos in Australia. Did you find out any fun facts? I found out that kangaroos can’t watch backwards Miss Gill

In Science we looked at different materials and their properties, we wanted to investigate which material was the most waterproof. We tested cardboard, plastic, felt and aluminium foil and found that plastic and aluminium foil were both waterproof as they did not let any water through. Today we had a visit from Mr Stapley and two students from Sharples high school. We Learnt a lot about Neil Armstrong and the different stages of the Luna Cycle. I learnt there are 8 stages of the moon cycle. What did you learn?  Miss Gill

We have been learning about properties and uses of materials in science. The ridiculous key – I think glass would be ridiculous to use for a dart board because when you throw the dart it would pierce the glass and smash can you think of a ridiculous use for wood? Miss Gill
