In academies this year every child in KS2 completed a swimming programme at Sharples High School. Some children achievedPersonal Survival Level 1 and others Level 2. Some children even managed to swim 25 meters for the first time, 5 meters for the first time or enter the water for the first time!
All the children put 100% effort in during their swimming lessons with Miss Turner and this week they were presented with a certificate.

Last night the Year 5+6 Netball team playing in a tournament with other local schools. The girls played really well and won some of their matches 5-0!
The girls worked as a team, supported each other and fought hard to represent our school well.

Red Nose Day 2015
Today we all wore a red accessory to raise money for Comic Relief 2015. We also sang the song “Put on a funny face” after learning it in our Music lessons.
Children in Life Skills Academy cheap sildenafil uk also made cakes and biscuits to sell to raise money. They made a whopping £292 in one afternoon! Well done to all the children and thank you for making a difference!

This week Year 6 have been down to Sharples High School to use their fantastic art facilities in their Ancient Greek Projects. Over the next few weeks the children will be at Sharples on a Wednesday order tramadol online credit card afternoon while they make their own Greek pots.

Today our School Choir were invited to sing on the cobbles of Coronation Street! We braved the cold and the rain to entertain people on the tour. We even got chance to nip in The Rovers Return too! 🙂
