This week past pupil and current Manchester United footballer Ashley Fletcher visited Year 3. The children were really excited to ask him questions about what it takes to become a professional sports person and all about the life of a footballer. Congratulations to our KS2 Netball team who won their recent match against St John Primary School. The girls all represented our school really well and won 13-2 and 5-0! Well done all!! 🙂
In academies this year every child in KS2 completed a swimming programme at Sharples High School. Some children achievedPersonal Survival Level 1 and others Level 2. Some children even managed to swim 25 meters for the first time, 5 meters for the first time or enter the water for the first time!
All the children put 100% effort in during their swimming lessons with Miss Turner and this week they were presented with a certificate.

Last night the Year 5+6 Netball team playing in a tournament with other local schools. The girls played really well and won some of their matches 5-0!
The girls worked as a team, supported each other and fought hard to represent our school well.

Last week Year 4,5 and 6 children competed against other Bolton schools in a number of swimming events.
On Thursday Year 5 and 6 did us proud at Total Fitness where they won a number of races and even met Olympic Swimmer Rebecca Adlington!

On Friday Year 4 and 5 also did us proud at Bolton School competing well against a number of other schools. They came second in 1 race and third in another!
