On Thursday 7th March each child will receive their very own pot and daffodil bulb to plant. They will then personalise their plant by decorating their pot wrappers. Each child is asked to make a minimum donation of £1 so we can reach our fundraising target of £210 in aid of Marie Curie. This is a great charity and with your support we can help make a difference to others.
This week our Eco Council have been hard at work. On Tuesday morning they started to weed the flower beds in the middle of school. This is a very important job that needed doing so we are ready to plant some new bulbs. All the children worked hard with Mrs Cameron who came into help. Have a look at what they were doing here.
Last week ‘That Poetry Bloke’, Craig Bradley, visited our school. We all opened the door to our imaginations for the day and painted many pictures in our head’s throughout the day. It was amazing to see how much fun you can have with words and some people learnt alot about what their name means. ‘That Poetry Bloke’ then did class workshops where we explored the world of words through songs and funny poems. We had a fantastic day and lots of fun with words! Have a look at some picture to see what we got up to.
This week KS1 have put on their annual Christmas Nativity. The children have used their big voices and sang beautifully in every performance. Many thanks to all who have contributed towards purchasing a new stage. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!
