Year 4 Trip to La Salsa

Year 4 Trip to La Salsa

Year 4 have been learning all about Spain. They were very lucky to have a trip out for their lunch and sample lots of different Spanish dishes.

I wonder if anyone in Y4 can tell us a bit more about their trip and the foods they ate?

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

We’ve all settled into our new classes and thought it would be nice to share with you some of the exciting learning we have been up to!

School choir sing their hearts out! – Music Festival 2013

School choir sing their hearts out! – Music Festival 2013

On Friday 14th June the School Choir and School String’s performed at the BSMA Music Festival. They were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! The choir sang two songs, Your Song by Elton John and You Stole My Heart. The strings accompanied one of the mass songs sung by over 400 children from ten different Bolton primary schools. Mr Hampson was so proud of every child involved for their brilliant performance, professional attitude and commitment! Not only did they sing 2 songs on their own but they also sang 7 other songs with the other schools. All the children had a fantastic night and were gleaming with pride as they left the stage!

A special thanks goes to all our Parents! Without your support events like this wouldn’t be so wonderful! Have a look at the pictures here to see the children in action!

Mr Hampson 🙂

THE OAKS STAND PROUD – Y4 – TAG RUGBY

Congratulations to our Year 4 Tag Rugby team who stormed to victory against 5 local primary schools recently. They all performed superbly, demonstrated great teamwork skills and put into practice some of the tactics they have learnt during their Tag Rugby sessions this term! Have a look at the Bolton News report here!
