Welcome back to the second half of our Spring term when, hopefully, the weather will improve and the buds will begin to sprout. Just one or two little reminders first. Please ensure you arrive at school on time to use the cloakroom entrances which don’t close until nine o’clock. Any later and squeezing in through the front entrance means you are late and have missed the start to the day. It may only seem a small thing but those vital ten minutes allows your child to get themselves sorted in the cloakroom and settled for the start of their learning. They have had their little chat and shared their news with friends and are ready to listen. Those who arrive early enough have also had an extra ten minutes to practice their basic skills, getting them ahead in the learning game.
Parking is the other gripe again! Please respect our close neighbours and don’t park across their drive or double park outside school so that the bus, and emergency vehicles, cannot pass. The car park is a staff car park and must only be used by parents with prior permission and only in exceptional circumstances. This is to allow free access for emergency vehicles and for staff to leave for training purposes or to take the children out of school. Parents and visitors cannot be accommodated.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation in both these matters.
We are pleased to announce that the children raised over £350 at the Valentines Disco which is being used to purchase BeeBots – ICT equipment for the early years classes. Thank you all for your support.
