Academies – Water Safety

This term in Life Skills Academy the children learnt all about water safety. They went down to the local river and discussed what they should do if they ever thought they or a friend were in danger. The children were all very mature and enjoyed learning outside the classroom!

On Monday this week poet Ian Bland came to our school for a fun filled day of poetry!

Ian performed some of his poems for us and then worked with each class. We all wrote our own version of one of Ian’s poems and then buy ambien online from canada performed them at the end of the day.

It was brilliant to have Ian in school and we all had a fantastic day!

Wow!! What an amazing experience this morning!

We all saw the eclipse safely through pin whole viewers and in buckets of water.

We also watch the live feed on BBC news!

Today we all wore a red accessory to raise money for Comic Relief 2015. We also sang the song “Put on a funny face” after learning it in our Music lessons.
Children in Life Skills Academy cheap sildenafil uk also made cakes and biscuits to sell to raise money. They made a whopping £292 in one afternoon!
Well done to all the children and thank you for making a difference!

Super Swimmers in KS2

Last week Year 4,5 and 6 children competed against other Bolton schools in a number of swimming events.

On Thursday Year 5 and 6 did us proud at Total Fitness where they won a number of races and even met Olympic Swimmer Rebecca Adlington!

On Friday Year 4 and 5 also did us proud at Bolton School competing well against a number of other schools. They came second in 1 race and third in another!
