Year 3 had a fantastic day today finding out what it would be like to be at school as a Victorian child. It truly was an amazing experience ‘Bringing Learning to Life’ for the children in their history project. As part of the workshop the children dressed up in Victorian clothing, they had their hands and shoes inspected and did lots of learning such as chanting times tables. The children used pen and ink to write spellings and if they got any wrong they had to write them out several times. They all had a fabulous time but they decided they would rather be at school in this era rather than Victorian times.
