But it is in Year 2! On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week Year 2 have been extremely busy scientifically planting rocket seeds from space. On the 2nd September 2015, two kilograms of rocket seed (Eruca sativa) travelled from Baikonur, Kazakhstan on the Soyuz 44S rocket to the International Space Station (ISS). The seeds buy ativan visa have been stored in microgravity by Major Tim Peake (the first British ESA astronaut) and have now returned to Earth. The seeds have been distributed to schools (including The Oaks) along with seeds that have not been to space for the children to plant, observe, measure and record any similarities or differences. The results of the experiment will be sent off to be added to a national database where the findings will be analysed and published for everyone to see. Then Major Tim Peake will reveal which seeds have been to space.
